I want to retrieve the user id of the user running a report session and print that information in the header of the report. Several users are printing the same report many times and stacking them on the printer, making it difficult which report belongs to which user.

I've searched the Tools Development section and couldn't find anything obviously related. At the same time, I remember seeing this in Baan's documentation once.

Anyone remember how? I'll probably be putting it in the before.program section.

Go into the report layout and add field "logname$" with domain tcmcs.str16.

Glad I could help. Another field that you may want to add is “spool.report” this field will print the report name e.g. rtccom040001000.
