Does anyone know the maximum depth of a repeating field?

The know limits suggests as (c4),

Max. no of fields : 1024
(Max. Record Length : 3072 bytes)

and we know, a value in repeating field means that internally (in db) somany physical fieds/columns are created.

The total number of fields including the depth as individual fields should not exceed 1024.

The repeating field you can enter a maximum of 99 any way in "Maintain table definitions" .............!!!!
