I have copied a standard BaaN form, which exists in Spanish(5) at B4c1, to our customized VRC. The reason is that our Spanish users want a different session translation than the one standard BaaN uses. But after copying this to the new VRC and changing its description for the form, this does not show up when they run the session. It reverts back to the standard. Any ideas?

Normally you will have to compile the session which will update the description in the runtime dd.

Only a idea, but did you change the Form Special Field from
"Session Description" to "Form Description".

Did you enter the description of the customized session with a user entering BaaN with Spanish language ?

Thanks for the replies. Where is the Form Special Field
"Session Description" to "Form Description"? I did not see it? Thanks

Actually, I just added a special field to the form for form description, but it only puts the Form description onto the Form itself wherever the field is displayed(not in the title bar).

NEVER MIND. I didn't see the special description(session/form) at the top of the form. DUHHH. I changed it to Form and all is fine now. Thanks for the help...

Sounds good, but now i have a question. Did you work with the Baan Windows client or with the ascii version. On our system this feature works only in the acsii client not with the BW client.

BW client. Actually it does not work. I moved the special field around on the form, and the description does work fine, but there is still the title bar on the window which does not show the description. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Ok, I had to manually add a record into the ttadv130 table(Translation table)...
