I have to insert a new comany with "Maintain Companies ttaad1100m000"
I have to do this "remote". Can anybody tell me, how long the convert to RDD will take? Is this very critical in case of an interuptet conection?

If that all works, is the company ready for creating tables?

Hi 'Spartacus',

When you insert a record thru maintain Companies, the convert to RTDD is very fast (less than a minute).
Now, for the creation of tables, all depends on what database you are using and how the companies need to be setup on it.
Check your local DBA for that.

The conversion to runtime updates the file

$BSE/lib/compnr6.1.

This is why it takes very little time.

Create tables - may take between 5 and 30 minutes. Depends a lot of the fragmentation in your database. Be sure you create the tables in the right tablespace , if you are using Oracle ! ($BSE/lib/ora/ora_storage)
