Hi All,

I am installing iBaanERP5.0c for Oracle on UNIX.

I have loaded the iBaanERP software for UNIX from CD-ROM with the cd.read6.2 , when I try to install with the installation script install6.2, the following error occur:

# sh install6.2
Installation started: Thu Apr 3 08:52:58 CST 2003

Creating a temporary bse, moment please
Please give BSE (e.g. /usr1/bse) /baan/b5c/bse
Please give BSE_TMP /baan/b5c/bse/tmp
BSE=/baan/b5c/bse and BSE_TMP=/baan/b5c/bse/tmp, correct? (y/n): y
>INSTALLATION ABORTED!! File /baan/b5c/bse/bin/bshell6.2 not present in dump: Thu Apr 3 08:53:26 CST 2003

The Baan Corporation supplied the installation software to us.
Did you thought the software was bad?

I suppose so, you do have installation support, don't you? And some kind of warranty on the media?

Since I do no installations, I am not familiar with the problem.

Hmmm,

Baan 50c Installation on UNIX from CD-ROM ?
I have never seen.
I have done a lot of Installations on UNIX, allways from a tape.

Yes,we are doing BaanERP5.0c for Oracle on SUN Validation Test.
