I have printer issue where I need to change the "line per inch " to 8lpi instead of factory setup of 6lpi. I know there is option in printer itself, but I want to know how to change this in printer driver file (hpj4s) or anyother way other than the hardware option. Any suggestion on this ?
Thank you

I don't know about W2K. Only about Unix.
With Unix, you have a driver file in $BSE/lib/printinf/h/....
In this file you have a line like
initpr=\EE\E&l26a....
In this line are Escape sequences that control the way a printer has to print.

And if you are using the windows printing features of BAAN, then you have to make the changes inside bwprint.
Start up bwprint.exe (in the BAAN/bin dir), choose fonttest from the help menu and then right click on the font you want to change and set the font spacing (both horizontal and vertical).
This will only apply to your machine so if you want it to work with other machines, you have to export the registry changes and apply them on other machines.
