Do you have UNIX scripts for printing barcodes?
PCL5 Drivers needed for Barcode printing with UNIX to HP Printers
------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Baan Users

In directory $BSE/lib/barcode/hplj4 is a sample file "type01" for
printing barcode from UNIX to HP printers.
This is OK and we use it already sligtly changed for barcode 128.

We urgently need some more samples for
- Barcode type "Code 39"
- Barcode type "Interleaved 2 of 5"

Do you have such scripts or knowledge to customize for these
barcode types?

Hi Markus,

have a look at the programmers manual of the printers in question.
There you will find the sequences that have to be sent to the printer to switch to different barcode styles.
Look up the sequence for barcode 128 too, then you can locate the exact position in your "type01"-file where you have to put the corresponding leadin.

good luck

Norbert
