How many time when create a new company for run Initialize parameters?
I am firs time create a new company after I read BaanERP documentation, I try to creat a new company by step that untill run "Initilalize parameters session". When I perform this session, and then click "continue" button, it's run a long time.
I am not sure that it's a normal situation. Who can tell me why?

Once you have created all the tables for the new company, the initialising of parameters shouldn't take longer than a couple of seconds

If it's true that you said. I guess that may be my procedure is wrong, because it's run a long time when I perform the "Initialize Parameters". And no any messages to show, can you tell me what's happend?

After creating the new company and attaching to package combination,

1. Attach the company to the user by which u will be running the Initialize Parameters.
2. Create the tables for new company.
3. The Audit defn must be stup properly for the parameters table (this could be the reason for the session hanging. Check log files)
4. Then run the Initialize Parameters process.

Initialise Parameters is not a critical session by the way, Nicole. So, if it's indeed giving you problem even if you think you've followed the instruction on creating new company, then just ignore this particular step. What this session does is just putting default values in all the parameter sessions in BaanERP. If you can manually set the all the values yourself, you probably don't really need this session
