(BaanIVc4 on NT using SQL 7.0)
I created a new VRC, PC and Company, then dumped the data for demo company 550 to sequential file, and created tables for new company (300) using commandline "bdbpost -fkmn -c300 -I<dumpfilename>." I have reorg'd tables, CRDD, etc. but something is still missing.
* MSsql Enterprise Manager shows 2,321 new tables in the baan4g database group (ending with the company # 300) and shows records in the tables.
* ttaad4222m000 Count # of Recs by Table shows data as expected.
* ttaad4100 General Table Maint shows data in tables as expected.
But...
* ttaad4232m000 Check Tables says "No Data Found"
* tdpur4401m000 Print Purchase Orders says "Data for Company 300 not defined"
Never having done this before, I am sure I am missing some step(s). Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
Have you run session tfgld9004m000 "Correct Company Number after Copying Company". This session will change the company number in all tables that have a reference to 550.
Hope this help!

Nelson,
* ttaad4232m000 Check Tables says "No Data Found"
I guess its good news...
You can also use the session - tccom0214m000 - Copy Company Data.

Thanks Rosalba!
I thought this only mattered in Finance programs, but running it solved the problems with Print Purchase Orders and Print Sales Orders!!
One other question...
I ran tfgld9004m000 from FILE -->RUN Program, but never could find it on the standard BaanIV menu anywhere. Do you know where it is located?
Thanks again.

Where is this program you mention? File --> Run Program can't find it and I could not find it anywhere on the menu?

Nelson,
I think this session is valid only in BaaN-5 series and it might not exist in the BaaN-4 series.

Great!
I don't think it's on the menu, I always have ran it like you did.

tccom0214m000 - Copy Company Data session does exist only in BaanERP versions, and it's a new procedure which is defferent than BaanIV.
In BaanIV the import of the table is proceeded first and then running the session tfgld9004m000 "Correct Company Number after Copying Company", in order to correct all the refrences for the company number in the tables.
In the other hand in BaanERP the steps are in the oposite order which is changing the company number by using the session "tccom0214m000" then creating the tables into the DB.
Hope this will clear the copy company procedures in both versions.

RE: I thought this only mattered in Finance programs, but running it solved the problems with Print Purchase Orders and Print Sales Orders!!
Hi Nelson,
FYI, although it appears as part of the Finance package, tfgld9004m000 actually invokes four programs (tfgld9000m000, tfgld9001m000, tfgld9002m000 and tfgld9003m000) that originally had to be run separately.
The first program corrects company number in Common & Distribution; the second corrects company number in Finance; the third corrects it in Manufacturing, Transportation, Service and Project; the final prgram deletes records that have the old company number in the record-key/index.

If the session * ttaad4232m000 Check Tables says "Noe Data Found" it´s very good. This session is a error report. No report = no errors.
Only you need run the session tfgld9004m000 to change the reference company number (old company number 550 -> New company number 300)
Good luck

To validate if the company number has been changed in all reference tables you can run the session ttaad4229m000.
