iam new to this baan board.
i would like to ask a basic doubt , may be it would have appeared in earlier threads.
iam in baan iv c4 with NT server & Oracle 8.0.5 .

the doubt goes as follows :
in case of system crash can the baan be reactived with the following backup's.
1. with the help of the entire system backup including system registry.
2. The entire Oracle data backup. cold backup.

It depends on what you may replace when your system crashed. Look in the Baan website for the quick guides regarding Baan licensing: you only need to re-license Baan in case of network card change (for NT, due to the NIC change).

For the rest, your restore will put back everything.
