I have a Problem For Installing Of ibaanERP50c.
i have Installed for an month!! really..i'm feel like Crying..

The OS is Windows2000 Server(sp03) and Oracle8.1.5
but After Installing, ORA-01022 Message is sometimes displayed whenver normal Message is displayed.
(..ORA-01022 is Invalid Session Message..)
i cannot know what's main problem in my installing.
of course i followed with Installation Manual.
Is there Anyone Who has installed above environment ?

my process was done like below..
1. OS install -> 2. Oracle Install(No create DataBase) ->
3. Baan Install(Baan and Oracle's Path is C:\... and TableSpace
's path is D:\..) -> 4.Validation -> 5.Shared Memory Setting -> 5.Create Demo tables. -> 6.PMC Install -> 7.SP03 Import ->...
(Porting Set is 7.1a..)

Please Help me.. thanks..^^

Thats a strange message you have there.

When exactly does this message occur? You say it occurs 'somtimes'. Does other database functionality work ok?

Have you installed any customisations?

Are there any clues in the log files? (log.oracle8)

An ORA-1022 error is : database operation not supported.

i had seen this error sometime when the baan-client libraries dont had the correct version as the database server.

So, upgrade the database to 8.1.7 (8.1.5 ist not supported anymore) and update the portingset to 7.1d (which was linked with Oracle 817 libraries).

I hope you know about the right sequence of installing Service Packs in Baan5.0c; it is like: SP3, SP4, SP3 Tools Patch, SP5, SP6 and so on.
