Hi, i have an instalation of BAAN IV C4 with MSSQL Server 7 on the same server (on NT). I need to move some companies to an Oracle 8.0.5 than is installed in other machine and i can´t connect BAAN whith the database server. If someone knows how to do this, please help me.

You have to extend you Baan license to Oracle8.
Installing an Oracle8 Client on your Baan Server, setting up SQL-NET and changing the Database definition in Baan to ORACLE8; creating database user for ORACLE and linking existing or new BaaN user to the ORACLE-Database user; setting up ora_storage, creating Baan-Database user in Oracle, setting up Tablespaces .......
