We want to use EDI,when I do the setting,Import EDI Data(ecedi6220) session,click <continue> a message shows:default text group by use not defined.
I have not Text Management workbook,could you help me solve it?

Session you need is tttxt1113m000 (Maintain Default Text Group by User).

our version is 5.0c ,I can't find tttxt1113m000 (Maintain Default Text Group by User).And in User Data I have select the default text group,but I don't known whether the setting of the text group is correct,I don't known how to use Text Management to set those text group.

Sorry but I'm on 4c4 so I can't help but I'm sure someone else will be able to. (you might want to fill out your version information in your member profile or include it in your posts)

Take a look a the tools parameters Baan Tools -> Text Management -> Text Parameters

And don't forget to set the template for yourself in the Userdata ttaad2500m000 -> ttams1100s000 -> Defaults

You need go through the chapters of - Text Management in the Administrator's manual.

All the text settings have to be setup and proper authorizations, templates have to be created.

Here are the screen shots of the relevant sessions/settings involved.

After the user data is modified you need to do a convert to runtime changes, logout & log back in for the changes to be effective.

I got the solution..

My solution is to set "default text group" field in User Data
