Hi,

Baan Config: BaanERP 5.0b, HP UX11, Oracle 8i

I am trying to install Service Pack 9 and i get an error saying "Error in decompressing file /opt/baan/bse/tmp/tmp12344.../..." after which, my installation procedure gets aborted.

Any ideas on what this error is?

Sheetal.

Indeed, it could be the filesystem reaches its limits while decompressing.

But it can also be a corruption in the delivered file or a error on the CD the software was delivered on (both cases have happened on different occasions). In that case, it's wise to ask a new ServicePack-delivery from Baan.

I have no idea as to whether it was a space problem. Could be.

There was a fatal error during the execution of many sessions saying "Detected Database Server Termination"

We had a Bann shutdown..and that solved the problem.

Thanks,
Sheetal.
