Friend:
I want to install BaanERP 5.0c(US) in operation systerm 2000(PRC) with SQL SERVER 2000(US)! But when I finished install Sqlserver2000 and to install BaanERP Base ,It's display error message:
"sql server is not configured with binary sort order,please use the 'rebuild master database' option in sql server, setup to change sql server's sort order to 'binary ' and restart the baan install, exiting setup with an error"
But i install sqlserver choise "sort order " is "binary".
I rebuild master database in sqlserver but display error message "rebuild master failed with error -1" and not rebuild.
please help me and tell me what's happen .whether success ?

I have no experience in this installing issue... but it seems to have something to do with the ISO_BIN file ... Search the knowledge base for solutions on this file. Maybe you can read a solution for your problem there.

i had the same problem in the past. You are using an installer for SQL SErver 7 when you need a version for SQLServer 2000

Just reinstall SQL Server. Binary sort is not default and before you press ‘ENTER’ just read each screen.

Recently, I have installed SQL Server 7 and SQL Server 2000 without any problem. Also, don’t forget to apply service pack for SQL (SP3a). It is very important !!!
