Whenever I login into Baan , I login okay but before the menu broswer I get the message "Can't read session or object(ottstppollmess)". Any solution?:)

that object is eirther missing or corrupted. I am on BaanIVb2 but that tools object does not exist.

use the "explode6.1 ottstppollmess" to find it -if present then its prob corrupt

In the session Maintain BMS Mask Data(ttadv4188m000),
check whether ottstppollmess is added and the check box in Boot is checked.
If so remove that and try again.
I am not sure, whether this will work. but you can try.

The hint above should work. ottstppollmess is intended to let the system administrator broadcast messages to all Baan users. Each 5 minutes it polls the file $BSE/lib/systemmess and displays the text contained by it in case of a new message.
This object is usualy put in the BMS mask data to let it run automatically on startup. So if you disable it as described above, the error should disappear.
