Hi all,

we have an ERP installation on a NT - System.

On that system the debugger crahes the Baan GUI if I try to find somthing, or type a variable to check it's value. It looks as though that the most keyboard entries causes the system to crash.

Any sugestions are welcome.

Thanks

Work with the mouse: a mouseclick on a variable will show the variable, and you can use the buttons to perform basic actions.

How do you search etc?

You are right. I do a lot of things with the mouse, but I have no glue, how to search with the mouse. Normaly I use the "/" slash to search something. That does not work yet.

There are also sometimes variables, which however dosn't show a value if you click them with the mouse. But you will get a value returned, if you "type" the name of the variable.

On several OS-es the mouse click is not working correctly. To get variable names etc. you have to use the keyboard on these platforms.

Kind reagrds,
Dick

Dikkie,

I found the problem you described, on a GUI Version for cIV. But my problem now, is the other way round.

So your problems are solved with an update of the GUI (sol 13743)?

My actual problems not, because my GUI works fine on an other server.

But some month ago, I have had a problem which I solved with a new GUI-Version.

In that case: log a case with Support.

The GUI should allow you to enter text in the debugger. It is not a familiar problem to me. (But on the other hand, I do almost no debugging at all)

seems to be the only way !
