Hello all,

Has anyone used the Batch Installer till Baan IVc4 SP8. I want to know if the dumps are including scripts, includes...

If you install a solution using PMC tools, the system detects if you have the script in the standard software, and if exists, the pmc tool install the script in the Update structure.

For instance if a PMC solution installs the object for session tiitm0101m000, that is, oitm0101, the updated script pitm01010 will be installed in case script pitm01010 is installed in ${BSE}/application/tiB40_c4/ptiitm. If you do not have standard script, then the script will be not installed in the update structure.

I do not know how this funcionality works in the Batch Installer till Baan IVc4 SP8.

Any help?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi,

BatchInstaller is only applicable if you have a fresh Baan Installation.
In a fresh Baan Installation (without servicepacks and without PMC) you couldn't have program scripts.
