Hello,

Does anybody know hoy to unlock locked licenses of hanged processes?
Sometimes, there are network problems and some sessions are hanging, so users use "Output to console" to abort their sessions, and the system gets out of free licenses. Then "Maximum number of users reached" appears when we try to start a new BW. Boss, then, stops BaanERP Licensing and re-starts it again. Some active sessions are forced to exit when new users enter BW.

Is it possible to locate and "kill" licenses one by one instead re-starting License server?

Thanks

See solution 19868 on the Baan support site.

Hello again,

I've tried to set user variables ds_timeout_detect and ds_max_wait in file \bse\lib\users\uuserx

Then I started a new session with that user and unplugged network connection (before finishing session). I set ds_timeout_detect:5 (minutes) and ds_max_wait:30 (seconds) but server didn't release that license.

Any other suggestions?
