I have got a solution to be installed for Tools. The file is properly scanned by ttpmc2200m000 and information about solution is stored. If I try to connect it (ttpmc2201m000) the following message appears:

0 individual soultions and 0 patches connected ...

The update VRC is B40U c4 stnd, base VRC is B40 c. PMC recipient manual says that there is no update VRC required for installing Tools soultions but session for scanning files does not allow to leave update VRC field blank.

You should be able to select B40U_cx_stnd (and Baan re-directs them to ttB40_cx - never tested it myself...).
If it does not work that means that the Tools patches should be only scanned in directly into B40U_cx_stnd.
Baan will not allow you to install them in another place since they will always be stored in the B40_cx layer anyhow.

Victor is right... scan to your update VRC. It will be installed correctly.
