Hello every body,

I have a NT box with Baan IV working normaly with the developpement tools.

I connected some days ago another box (sun solaris) without the developpement tools with the name of the first box in the licence6.1 file. I now can start the 2nd box but cannot open the "maintain script" session. It seems that I cannot use the developpement tools licence infos of the first box.

Is it normal ? Have I done something wrong ? Have I missed something ?

What is the error when u maintain script . Any error log generated . Why do u mean by mentioning the same name in license6.1.

Have you maintained editor parameters in ttadv0110m000.

The bw error says "you don't have autorisation for ottadv2130"
"Can not continue in ottadv2130 (unknown)".

What I meant is that the fist box is the licence server for the application but I thought it would be it for the tools too. and i'm affraid its not so simple...

Guess that patches your tools objects will solve the problem.

Have had a similar problem. In our case license have had to be renewed.
Until that we could help with:
- start maintain scripts from ASCII - Enviroment, or
- you can set a environment in the Baan Client, that not the Baan Browser, but a desired session starts directly. In that case maintain script starts directly, and that works. Unfortunatelly I don 't remember exactly how I did that.

Beside, there should be more tools sessions, which u cannot start, for example "maintain reports" I think.
