After Load Mandatory Tables for Audit (Subsession from: Assign tables to database) i cannot start any User except user "baan".

At startup i get error 1461 and 203. System is on NT4 with Informix, Baan4c4 SP9. I checked the files in directory $BSE/lib and others but they seemed to be OK.

I found only one thing, but i don`t know how to handle it:
In directory $BSE/lib/User are the user-files with the values of the session ttaad2100m000 Maintain User. At one point there is a difference between the baan-user and the others:

baan-user:
compauth:000222

other users:
compauth:000

I can write it in the file, but after Convert to RDD the 222 (Company) gets lost again!

Does anybody know what to in this case? Is this the reason for my problem?
Thanks in advance, greetings from Germany
Johnny

Hi Jonny,
I think this is a problem of an user starting with a company where it has no authorization.
Check in session ttaad2100m000 to see what company is assigned to each user. You can assign company 222, save and Convert to RDD. See if is working
Try to start the session ttaad2120m000 (Maintain User Authorizations by Company), and see add insert an user authorization for company 222. Save and Convert to RDD.

I hope this will help you.

Hi

thanks for reply but my problem still exists.

All my users are Super Users, so you can`t write them in Maintain User authorizations by Company.

I try to evaluate the problem: It arises when I convert to RDD in the session Assign tables to database. After this only user baan can log in.

I think there is a inconsistency with the database Informix.

What can i do?

Thanks in advance

Johnny

Hello

I need help about the above mentioned problem:

Informix-Error 1461. File open error, cannot open file.

But which file is meant? And what must be changed in this file.

Thanks for reply.

Greetings
