The MultiLevel Download Tool (MLDT) can be used to retrieve a single solution with the correct dependencies up to the stage of installing.
It is a good alternative for downloading (and installing) weekly dumps, in case your server (or bw client) is connected to the internet. That is the negative point, you will need access to the ftp.support.baan.com site one way or another. This may be considered a safety threat.

Spartacus,
I agree with Ome Luuk. It's a great alternative when you don't want to install complete Service Packs, for whatever reason. The downside is that sometimes the ftp-connection won't follow through; in that case you need to adjust your proxy-settings.
Anyway: I see no reason why you won't try it.
Henk.

spartacus: use the latest software ... (and tell us how you can tell you use the latest software).

To get around the proxy settings within the Multidownload tool.. Have the tool generate the standard $BSE/lib file and then you can manually edit this file to handle proxy and firewall issues. I have had to do this for a couple of customer sites...
