Hi, does anyone know how to solve the problem is WebUI (aka Webtop) caching an incorrect password try?

What happens - if you try and login with webui and get the password wrong you get a very unhelpful error message 'connection broken during ipc_boot'. Then all subsequent tries to login with the correct password still give the same error. The only way to clear this is to close IE and reopen it.

Is this an IE thing, or a Java setting, or ???

Where is your WebUI installed? I found solution for Linux on Infor Support:

Description:

When trying to log in user gets "Error: Connection broken during login" and WebUI server is installed on a Linux OS.


Resolution:

If in the Linux log the following error appears "FAIL: exec per_source_limit from=xx.xx.xx.xx", set this resource as unlimited for rexec in Linux server and then users can connect via WebUI successfully.
