I´m planning to install porting set 6.1c.14 on a system running windows server 2003 s. pack2 and SQL server 2000 s. pack3.

Experience no, but according to the technical notes that combination is not supported.

SQL 2000 is out of support, so what do you want to keep it?

That's a very old setup, but it works although MS SQL 2000 is out of support. You should upgrade to MS SQL 2008.
