Hi,

Does Infor offer any Baan-program or -tool on the (windows) server-side to close all client sessions/programs at a certain time?
If not, has anyone found some way to do this under windows?

We think about closing all open client sessions before we start our database backup.

One way to do this would be to end all ntbshell.exe processes on the baan-server, but this is not a very elegant way to stop the programs...
Is there a better way?

Regards,
Frank

Dear Frank,

You try the Commond bshcmd -k <pid> , where PID is on OS .

you could use "tlist" on Windows - it is available in resource kit.

All the best.

Hi sushil,

Thanks for your reply.
This seems like a good way to kill the processes on the server side.

I guess on the client, the user will get an error message in this case, will he?
