Bernd - it looks like spartacus is looking for a method to size the original startup menu and not just the location for where a session starts. I think that is different. I thought there was something you could play with in one of the tools sessions, but I have not found it yet.

Exact!!! It is to have it as small as possible to use it in a barcodescanner window.

we use it with our BaaN IV Systems, but in VT-220 Emulation Mode (ASCII) on Windows CE Teklynx Barcodescanner.
But , A lot of customisation has been done.

what i described, we use in BaaN IV. On a other site we use the Infor Barcode Solution (Former Bridgelogix).
This solution use Open World Connector.

Never tried to use the BIV GUI on Handheld Barcodescanner.

to be sure that there is now way, I asked BaaN. It takes them only half a day to find:

"There are currently no ways to set the initial size and position of this menu browser window."
