After applying a porting set the the BECS is now opening the config and not executing the config. I have to select run once the config file is open.

Any ideas as i dont have a clue on this one thanks.

Problem is only on the server. Dont know if i can install version .98 of the BECS without causing an issue with the BaaN server components already installed.

We are using .98 of the BECS client, confirm the user rights are not preventing it. Perhaps the config is set to read only or else you have forgotten to tick the "use as default option"

Is the BW client installed in the same directory as the BSE? I have seen problems with this many times when people do such a configuration as doing that is not recommended.

We use the BECS that comes with the porting set on the server, we have tried previously to install the latest BECS on the server but have had issues with the current porting set corrupting so this is something we avoid even though there is some documentation to say it can be done.
