I am testing homepages in FP7 version. Everything works fine except graphs (reports printed with Report Viewer). For every report in every homepage I am getting the same error:
Can not generate the requested chart/report
reason:
com.infor.birt.server.qbr.ReportStatusException: File could not be copied from ERP system --- Source: "C:InforERPLNse\/application/tfB61U_a_FP7/rtfacr/racr480013000.rptdesign" Destination: "C:\Infor\ERPLN\ese\ReportViewer\web\reportdesigns\SI-INF-ERPLN\InforERPLNse\application\tfB61U_a_FP7\rtfacr\tfacr480013000.rptdesign"It seems that there is problem with combination "\b" in path (c:\ERPLN\bse\...)
Any idea what could be wrong?

Hello Jclju1,
i think this is beause i seperate the ERP server and the webtop server, do you deploy it as the same tier as i do?

I have everything on the same server.
In my opinion the combination "\b" is problematic, this combination can be read as "backspace".

yeah,
i think you were right, if you copy and paste the path to the explorer it became an ascii character, i think that's cause the problem.

C:\Infor\ERPLN\ese\ReportViewer\web\reportdesigns\DEM1-ERPAPDB\ERPLNse\application\tdB61U_a_stnd\rtdsls\tdsls440501200.rptdesign
is my path, and ERPLN\bse is the bse home, if you see it with the backspace then the folder become \ERPLNse rather than \ERPLN\bse.

I got this answer from Infor Support:
A comparible error has been found now in our internal reproduction environment with WebUI version 8.7.2.
A defect has been filed for this, and a solution will become available with the next version of WebUI 8.7.3.
So, we have to wait for a new WebUI.

Hello,
yes, i've been told the same thing with the support, the alternative is to downgrade the WEBUI to the past version, but i think i'll wait for the new Webui on Oct2011.

I installed a new WebUI. Now I can see some reports but not all. The reports which I can not see have the next error:
The following items have errors:
Chart NewChart:
+ An exception occurred during processing. Please see the following message for details:
Cannot open the connection for the driver: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.
Failed to get connection.
SQL error #1: Client unable to create connection: Connection failure; could not connect to bse 'c:/Infor/ERPLN/BSE' on local host (note: environment variable BSE_REM is not set)Any idea?

Hi
Yes i have extactly the same error. and i resolve this with the installation of ODBC/JDBD connector (JDBC API Infor).
It's infor specific connector.
It's a part of portingset.
A documentation exist but i'm out of office and i'm not my laptop. if you want i can send this info next week.
Regards
