Server O/S : HP Unix 11.11

I am on porting set 7.1d.11 and we plan to move to 7.1d.12.

so my question is do we have some sort of doc. for updating porting set from 7.1d.11 to 7.1d.12a or can i just go ahead and copy/paste the cd contents to $BSE ?? The document which is present in 7.1d.12a talks more of what has changed and doesnt really tell how to upgrade porting set on unix.
