We run 4c4, HPUX & Ora 805, can we utilise the BI client?

If so how do you go about setting it up?

I don't really know if we want to use BI but I would like to understand the workings.

I'm not sure whether BI exist for Baan IV

In Baan V there is a class file $BSE\internet\bisetup.class . This
class needs to be executed/installed in the web server. And u can access Baan without any BW client.

I do have a $BSE/internet directory but there is no file by the name of bisetup.class

The BI client is not working on IVc-Versions.
Only way is to install Baan OpenWorld and the Webtop, so you
could access via HTML-Browser. BI-Client will not supported in future Versions.

BI does not exist for BaanIV.
The java directory we have in BaanIV instalations is solely for OpenWorld integration.

In BaanERP, it seems it will be discontinued in the future. The document that explains how to setup it is the U7089AUS - just got if from Baan to take a peek :D
