When I install a new Baan server on Oracle 9i (or 8i), users can login to the system if they are members of administrators group.
non-administrative users get error 505 (no server specified in tabledef6.1 or server cannot be started).
I granted full control to everyone on %BSE% and on %ORACLE_HOME%, but no use.
Once I add the users to the administrators group, they can login without problem.
I added "everyone" to the policy of "log on locally". I also messed with the sqlnet.ora and didn't succeed.
DB: Oracle 9i (also happens in 8i)
OS: Win 2003 Server
Baan: c2 mcr0
Porting set: 6.1c.07 (comes with the installation CD, but it happens in other versions of the porting set as well)
Does anyone know a way to solve this issue? I do not want to grant administrative rights on the server to all the users.
