Hi all,

I got error while installing ERP LN FP3 (while installing patch) and attached the error mesage.

Fatal Error: Error 205 (out of range) on ttadv300000 in db_insert
Fatal Error: Can not continue in ottiex1288 (handle.ttadv300) [db.insert].


ERP : ERP LN FP3
OS : Wondows 2003
Database: SQL server 2000 (SP3).

Please help me.

Hello Anjaneya,

I had this error when I tried to install FP3 before updating the tools/Enterprise Server.
To avoid the error you should first install the IU "PMC_ERP_Tools" and after that the IU with Feature Pack 3.

I have installed the IU "PMC_ERP_Tools" and restarted the server.
Then I tried to install Feature Pack 3, again I got different error.

Check your installation user. Check locale setting. Is it ISO88591 or something else?

Hello Anjaneya,

change the entry in $BSE/lib/defaults/all to:

high_ascii_tolerance:1

If the file "all" doesnt exist, create it.
