Hello,

I try to install ERP LN 6.1 on a win2000 server. During Installation wizard, I get the error message:
Executable E:\....\ntbshell.exe (option -v) does not run. The visual C runtime DLLs are maybe not yet installed.

So I looked for vcredist.exe and first got an old one, which didn't instal anything, then I installed then 2010version, but I still get the same error.
Than I found the release on the installation CDs from infor, deinstalled the DLLs and installed the 2005-version.

Nothing helps, the error persists.

When I invoke ntbshell.exe in then command prompt, nothing happens. Even ntbshell -? remains silent: no message, no error, nothing.

Any ideas ?

Windows 2000 is not supported anymore. So you can try it with an older portingset or better install it on a actual operating system.

Even when I wrote win2000 server, I was sure, it was win2003.
Thank you very much, I've never had recognized the wrong version and problably would waste even more time on this case!

install this file first before running setup : vcredist_x86.exe

may resolve the setup
