Oracle Installed successfully on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.0.

When installing LN 6.1, I am getting the following error

"Database configuration failed". This message is appearing in log file also

Urgent Help required!!

You can check few things.

Read log files created in staging area carefully, that may give you some idea about error.. Please attach files if possible
If everything seems right then you can try following

1> Permission of oracle installtion directory - All files there should have read permissions to other.

2> tnsnames.ora file - check if proper entry is present for oracle service - Compare its format to format given in pre- installation guide for ERPLN.

3> Also what option you are selecting while installation
Oracle service or Oracle instance name ? Try changing that...
