hi,
recently we have upgraded to oracle 10g from oracle 9i. After upgrading
we are not able to log into baan using any user.
We are able to log into oracle using bsp and root user and able to query baan tables.
kindly suggest what could be the possible reason and how to resolve it?
Thanking you in advance,
Anil

Hello,
are the user defined in ora_users ?
If bsp and root are able to login, they are listed in the users-file.

hi,
Now i have found the root cause. When i am logging in using oracle user the ORACLE_HOME is showing the updated path
but when i am logging at os level using bsp or root user the ORACLE_HOME is showing old value.
how to correct this error.
I have already updated the new ORACLE_HOME value in tabledef6.1.
now when i am trying to log into baan error 505 no server defined in tabledef6.1 or server can not be started
