Hello:
Anyone out there using the printer's IP address directly in the device queue of a windows printer. We don't have a printer server, all printers are directly hooked up to the network.
Thank you
Jay

Hello,
I Remember something similar we did long back - (i don't remember the Model).
1.Added a Generic Printer Driver.
2.Created a PORT and specified the IP in it (in printer preference.)
All the Best,

You might consider using the Baan device Server Printer. That way you don't have to install the printer on each client, which I presume is what you are trying to avoid

Thanks Sushil and Prince.
Sushil,
This is already the way it is on the Windows side. We are trying to use that IP and somehow put it in the device queue on the LN side.
PrinceUK,
Yes. Windows Server printer is an option but for now we are trying to avoid going through the Infor ES Reporting Service to make this happen. If nothing else, we will go with this.
Thank you
Jay
