Hi,

i tried to import the security permission file ([MyDayPackage]\etc\MyDayFullExport.xml) like descibed in the Installation Dokument.

I got the attached error..."Connection timed out"

Any idea?

Normally this is a short step. Did you give it a second try? What is the Security log file stating about this?

Do you have access to the internet? Normally this step requires internet access for java.

There is a work around for this but you will need to modify some xml files.

Access to the internet is present, maybe some special settings (Internet Explorer or Java Console) are required?

Could you post or send me your settings and could you explain the workaround in detail?

I add some logfiles, after start the windows services.They show some errors, important or can i ignore it?

The last logfile shows the results after trying to import the permission file.

If you login again to Security are there Roles available within the Security Hierarchies?
The log file states successful. So the problem is maybe not the step itself but is just about leaving the Security application open while not using it?

No there are no Roles avaible within the Security Hierarchies.
