I'm unable to install Worktop on Windows7, is there any latest version which is compatible with Windows 7?

Hello Saroj,

no, not yet. Solution 13964 for Worktop and 13743 for bw always contain the link to the latest GUI and list what versions of the OS are supported.
I guess the next versions will support win7. I have an inquiry running on that subject and will post the result.

I Installed Worktop 2.5.2 & BW 8.4b on Windows 7, and is working fine.

Though Infor's response is - "Our developers have not released any notes regarding the compatibility of BW on Windows 7 O/S. They have not yet specified any compatible version of BW on windows 7. So as per our standard scope we could not recommend"

Central Deployment of Worktop in combination with Windows 7 clients is not supported.

2. BW version number:
8.6a 4 - Windows7 supported.

From Worktop 2.5.7 central deployment with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 is supported.

We use worktop 2.5.6 on win 7 it works fine.
More importantly you should get the latest BW, without that it wouldnt recognize print devices. I use - BW 8.6a.4, it works fine on 5.c (i think this BW is from LN but works just fine on 5c)

Check KB 22881488: "From Worktop version 2.5.15 onwards, Windows 8 is supported."

Worktop 2.5.15 is the latest versions (released on 5. Aug 2013).

You'll need to access ftp.support.baan.com or use the link given in KB 22881488:
