i create the seq dump job to run at night..

it never run and show waiting.

when i activate the job, i am unable to close the windows.. the screen is on the last page of "Maintain Job under Tools.pdf"

can someone help.

if i want to run the seq dump everyday at night automatically, is there any other way?

Tools sessions run in company 0. So just must create your job in that company, too.

yes. i create the job and activate in coy 000

Baed on your attached screen shots your job is set to run on July 22nd so when you activate the job the status goes to "waiting". It is waiting for July 22.
Change the next execution date if you want to run it immediately.

Be sure that the user who start the job is connected to company 000. and first release the job.

Another possibility is to write a batch file and use the command bdbpre. First generate a file with al the table names and use that in you batch file

Steven, since the status is 'waiting' I suppose that you want to use the jobdeamon to start the job. Do you have a jobdeamon (service) running? Is it using a properly configured bwc file, i.e. is it logged in into the right company?
