Hi..
I am getting an error during ERP LN 6.1 installation.
I am using Oracle Database version 10.1.2.0 and OS platform is Window 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2.
The error is coming during importing data dictionary.
I am attaching herewith an error doc also.
Please provide me solution for it.

please check the event viewer log file..
You can find something there.

Problem is still existing..in event log files the eroor is coming that can not continue in ttiex1287 i.e can't import data dictionary.

I don't remember this particular error being caused by this, but are you running this through remote desktop? RDP had to be run with the "/console" switch or the install fails due to shared memory issues.

Just one stupid question. Did you choose more bshells for installation?

have you check your 2003 system, domain or workgroup?

I had submitted an inquiry to infor.They also suggested to install with latest installation wizard.Earlier an error is coming during importing the data dictionary of SSA ERP LN 6.1 but now the problem is coming during importing the data dictionary of SSA ERP LN 6.1 PMC solution.
Please sir give me appropriate solution.

You also want to look at solution 148218 and get the latest portingset 8.5a.02 as well as the latest Staging Wizard. Don't use the one that comes with the media.

please try to install a new version of the vcredist.exe. usualy it is includet at the stating wizzard. for a longertime ago i also had problems with installing erpln at windows. a update from vcredist solved the problem. please be sure that you chose x32 or x64 version correctly.

just for adding, i've once installed a X64 machine with the LNFP5 and i have to install both the x86 and the x64 vcredist because the slm only works with the x86 redistribute, while the porting set seems only works with the x64(if you're on 64).
