We are planning to migrate from Baan IVc4 to LN. Currently we are on Windows platform. We are exploring the possibility of migrating to UNIX/Linux. Any suggestions? Cost, Performance, stability are all factors we are looking. We are a mid size organisation. In case anyone has switched over from one platform to other, please share your thoughts/experience.

If u r looking for performance and stabilty then you can go with Unix/Platform.No other paltform will give you the perfomance and stability as Unix.

I fully agree with Rajesh. Linux (SuSE SLES9 or SLES10) with Oracle is solid like a rock. Performance is outstanding.
