We are moving to use BaanIVc4 SP10 on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 with SQL 2005 SP2 in the same server.

the SQL 2005 SP2 are in the same server as BaanIVc4, is it possible to move the SQL to other server without reinstall the Baan in the future.

Dear friend..
In my opinion .... just create the DB users inside the MSSQL2k5 instance then detach the database from the MSSQL2000 then Attach the DB inside the MSSQL2k5.... make sure CHARSET, INSTANCE NAME and all settings are identical..

Regards..

i mean move the SQL from the baan server out to another server.

eg. Server1 - Baan Application BaanV4c
eg. Server2 - SQL 2005 propose

Currently Server 1 running BaanIVc4 and SQL 2005.
can the SQL 2005 move to Server2. w/o reinstall Baan application
