I'm working with a new install of LN on Windows 2003.

When I try to run various tools sessions, I get errors like "session cannot be run on webtop" or "Session is not supported on this version of webtop."

If that's the case then, How do I run these tools sessions.

Which sessions are you referring to? Some of the Tools sessions are WebTop compatible. With every FP and Webtop versions more sessions are enabled. But WebTop is mostly for endusers and WorkTop for Administrators & Developers.

I knew I was missing a piece. I didn't have worktop installed.

I'm downloading it now. Will put it in tomorrow.
