Hello,

I am just starting to handle Baan desktop management after recent lay offs and I have a user telling me that their Baan Desktop icons and font are a lot smaller than other users around him.

I haven't changed his Baan desktop and apparently the PC desktop fonts and sizing is all exactly what he wants and are bigger than the Baan desktop fonts.

So, I'm asking if anyone knows where this setting is, if there is a setting for it. I'd also like to know if there is any documentation on this tools module.

Hi,

Asuming the clients are on Windows Xp - you can try this.

Use the client - where fonts are working fine.

1.goto control panel->fonts , then select all the fonts - press CTRL+C (i.e Copy)
(note:you would not have right click copy option for #1)
2.Paste it in a seperate folder(CTRL+V) - all your ttf files gets copied.
3.Goto run->type regedit goto "HKLM\software\baan\bwprint" -right click ->export to a file.

after collecting fonts and reg export.

Goto the client where you face the font issue - login as admin

1.select all the fonts (that you copied) - just drag and drop in control panel->fonts folder.
2.then douldle click on reg file that you have exported .(it will restore the keys)

In case - if you need still more fonts -Please find the Link for 800+ fonts.

Do you Check the BECS setting "BW Configuration" for this user!!:

go to line

fontWeight80=normal

fontName132=Fixedsys
fontWidth132=0
fontHeight132=12
fontWeight132=normal
fontItalic132=NO

Or go to the BECS and config the NLS and Font..

you would change this settings that supply your need
