Hi,

We have tried to install a huge amount of solutions for FP3 on a virtual machine server (Windows 2000/MS SQL 2000) with the following error:

Error : SQLState QP999: E_BDB_FATAL_START (error 850) (delete_prf_components() in object ottiex1288)

What can it be? As the solution we have tried to install stays on "to install" and the installation attempt was not successfull, we cannot "check to uninstall the solution" (to dl/scan the solution if there was an error)...

Any suggestions are highly welcome.

Error still remains after upgrading DB to SP4...

After patching the DB to SP4 the error was gone. We still have some problems (in general character truncation), but the solution installation error is gone...
