When normal Synchronization or Backup products are used (not online disk mirror) on a server that is always running transactions, it may easily happen that the audit sequence file e.g. whinh220xxx.yyy is not in sync with the corresponding Information header file e.g. whinh220xxx.inf.
When the backup is restored the first insert/update/delete transaction on that table will fail because of this.
Questions now are:
1. What should we do with $BSE/audit, should it be backupped or should it be dropped when starting ERP on the Recovery server.
2. Do you even clean ttaud110000 in that case.
3. And what do you do with the old Audit data when a table is reconfigured.
4. Has anyone encountered problems with the Accountant on missing audit information??
