Hi All,

We would like to create a new company in Baan IV c4.
I know that we can do this in standard way:
1. Create dump from demo company (e.g. 550 or 750 )
2. Create new company from sequential dump with different number.

The problem is that we need company without any data 'blank' .. the above procedure 'copies' company together with all data.

Is there any other procedure to create a company ?

Regards

A.

Hi, I have the following procedure from the Baan Support Center.

Thanks Karin,

I've followed the procedure from your document but I have a problem.
When I try to pass through the session Create Tables (ttaad4230m000) I get the error message:
"Can't create table ... (Error 251)"

and no table is created.

I checked the audit files and found message that "user 'baan' has no permission at all".

All the database permissions has been chcecked by our DB master and should be OK.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem?

Thanks
A.

251 EAUDSETUP
The audit server setup is not correct
action: see log.audit file for more information

Also, you need to determine which tables are audited and whichs ones are not. good luck.

This looks like a fresh installation of Baan... If a partner/consultant did the installation, did they setup the audit server and loaded the mandatory tables to be audited?

If not, then ask them to setup it or, have a look at the Baan installation manual, on the section regarding the setup of the databases and audit server and also to know how to setup auditing for the mandatory tables.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the suggestions.
The problem was that user had no developers rights for:
1. the new created company
2. for each of the packages within the VRC.

Thanks
A.
