Hi Guru's
I have just setup my test environment and now I am on to installing some patches, almost every patch I install I get the following error
"Errors in exporting Data Dictionary"
I have checked my live environment and this file doesn't exist.
Is there a setting I have missed in the initial install?

Hello,
this is not a real error. You have checked the box "Script sources" in ttiex1280m000 but you don't have the source for that session. Since you export the standard update VRC, that is quite common because Infor doesnt usually deliver the sources of their programs.
You can uncheck the box or direct the error to ASCIF.

Hi mario the issue is I am not exporting anything, I am installing patches using ttpmc2210s000 - Download scan and connect the ttpmc2101m000 to install the patch after the patch is installed then the errors in exporting data dictionary appear. I am a little confused as I am importing patches not exporting. Is there a setting I have missed somewhere?
btw I have not used ttiex1280m000.

Hello Thay,
ok., I see. I know this error only from ttiex1280m000, but PMC also invokes it internally when you do an installation of solutions.
Unfortunately I don't know which setting it could be.
You could try:
1) Uncheck "Extended Report" in ttpmc2210m000
2) Delete the standard defaults for user for that session (ttstpdeldeflt)
Anyway it is not an error to worry about.
Have a nice day,
mario
