Hallo Everybody!!

As it says the title of this thread, I'm trying to create a table and I'm getting a message that says: "Can not find the definition of table". Before this, the table was converted to DD.

I tried to clear the table and create it with the same nomenclature and I'm getting the same result.

And finally, every time when happens this error, I delete the records of tttadv501, tttadv502 and tttadv503.

I think there are a record stuck in another table.

What else could it be?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

If this is Baan IV

From the OS do
explode6.1 d<Your table name>

such as

explode6.1 dtiitm0101

(if it's Baan 5 and up, use explode6.2)

does a file come up? if not - then your convert/create runtime DD was not successful.

If it does - then most likely you are using a new domain in that table that has NOT been converted to runtime DD.

this usually happens when you're using a domain from a different package (like a TC domain in a TD Table) if you just do create runtime DD for TD then the TC domain never gets converted.

hi
that error will occur due to convert to RTDD problem. Try to do first Create runtime data dictionary. then try to do convertion. i think it'll works fine. Before that all domains u r using should be converted to RDD. All the best

you can also look for .new files in the $BSE/dict/#yourVRC#/ for that specific table or module, if you found some .new files the convert to DD still missing.
